In our 25th year of business, the honour of getting gold is even sweeter. We wanted to take the chance to say **a HUGE thank you** to every single one of you that voted for us, it means the world to the team at DA and speaks volumes about how much you've loved your adventure experiences with us. **We wouldn't be able to do what we absolutely love doing, if it wasn't for our army of adventurers far and wide. Together, we can keep making memories. ** 2019 has been an incredible year for us in more ways than one, from winning gold at the British Travel Awards to running our first-ever trip giveaway, releasing eight new mega challenges and setting up our popular podcast series (we hope you've listened in!).   **![almost £1.5 million was raised on justgiving this year - with even more being raised outside of this platform.-2](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/hs-fs/hubfs/almost%20%C2%A31.5%20million%20was%20raised%20on%20justgiving%20this%20year%20-%20with%20even%20more%20being%20raised%20outside%20of%20this%20platform.-2.png?width=809&name=almost%20%C2%A31.5%20million%20was%20raised%20on%20justgiving%20this%20year%20-%20with%20even%20more%20being%20raised%20outside%20of%20this%20platform.-2.png)**   We feel unbelievably proud to have taken hundreds and hundreds of individuals on challenges that change lives in more ways than one this year, and have got no plans to stop. **So, here's to an even more adventure-filled new year and in the mean time, have a wild and wonderful Christmas. DA HQ will be closing on 24th December until 2nd January so the team can embark on festive adventures of their own. See you on the other side!** **Yours truly, Team DA**   ![discover adventure british travel awards 2019](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/hubfs/Untitled%20design-min.png) ### Subscribe to Email Updates ### Recent Posts ### Posts by Topic - [Tales from the outdoors (26)](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/topic/tales-from-the-outdoors) - [The Travel Bug (26)](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/topic/the-travel-bug) - [Your Adventures (21)](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/topic/your-adventures) - [The Kit List (15)](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/topic/the-kit-list) - [Charity Challenges: What you need to know (2)](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/topic/charity-challenges-what-you-need-to-know) - [Corporate Challenges: What you need to know (2)](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/topic/corporate-challenges-what-you-need-to-know) - [Adventures At Home (1)](https://blog.discoveradventure.com/topic/adventures-at-home) see all #### STAY IN THE LOOP!
